CASE MANAGEMENT Rehabilitation case management services are provided to successfully implement a Life Care Plan, individualized service plan and/or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). Specific services may include facilitation, advocacy, coordination, education, problem solving and cost containment analysis. The goal of case management is to insure efficiency and quality of care to the disabled individual and reduce liability in fund management. Case management services are provided directly to the individual experiencing disability and also coordinated through family members, attorneys and trust officers handling fiduciary accounts.
INDUSTRIAL CONSULTATION Comprehensive on-site job analysis services to identify essential worker functions and the specific vocational aptitudes, skills, physical demands and cognitive/education requirements of jobs. A job analysis can be utilized to meet federal guidelines related to the ADA and to identify methods/viability of reasonable accommodation. Job analyses also are helpful in improving productivity, reducing injury through ergonomic assessment and ensuring accurate employee job matching.
LITIGATION SUPPORT Sink & Associates, Inc. provides litigation support at the request of plaintiff and defense attorneys, as well as insurance companies. Such support has been provided in more than 20 states within the United States and two European settings.
Life Care Planning Identifying and quantifying the comprehensive services and costs associates with a catastrophic injury. These costs include the projected medical, psychological, educational, attendant/nursing care services, residential and vocational needs of the injured individual.
Loss and/or Diminution of Earning Potential Determining the impact of an injury on the employability and future earning potential of injured workers. Loss of earnings analysis is also provided for wrongful death litigation.
Social Security Disability Analyzing the client’s vocational, medical, psychological and educational background to identify functional limitations and to determine impact on employability and transferability of work skills. Staff of Sink & Associates, Inc. have many years of experience as vocational experts for the Social Security Administration giving testimony in approximately 5000 cases.
Employment Disputes Evaluating employment of earning potential of persons in dispute with employers under the auspices of federal and state employment laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as other rehabilitation and civil rights’ laws.
